a-Learning - active action learning

A-learning is a practice whereby learners are actively engaged in the learning process, rather than "passively" absorbing lectures. Many teachers today want to move past passive learning to active learning, to find better ways of engaging students in the learning process. Active learning involves reading, writing, discussion, and engagement in solving problems, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. Active learning often involves team-based learning, also known as cooperative learning, wherein partners or group members work together to solve problems.
A-learning ideas are based on nowadays learning psychology. Cognitive and constructivist aproach of psychology examines internal mental processes such as problem solving, memory, and language. New assumption about nature of human learning emphasise importance of active participation in learning processes.
